What's On Tap - December 2021
Happy December, everyone!
We have some end of the year updates, reminders & events to share with y’all. I don’t know about you, but it’s hard to believe 2021 is almost already over! It’s been a bustling year for TPC & we’re very grateful to have done it all with such a wonderful community- we truly couldn’t have done it without each of you.
Closing Pioneer Square
As many of you have heard, our flagship location in Pioneer Square will officially be closing its doors at the end of this year. Chris wrote a fantastic blog delving into the story of how we ended up here & where we’re heading into the future (we highly recommend checking it out.) We’d like thank everyone who has been a part of our Pioneer Square location, present or past, for creating a community so wonderful it’s made it so hard to say goodbye. We’d also like to give a little shoutout to our current Pioneer Square members- y’all have been very accommodating of us & have helped make this transition a bit easier on our team. Small changes are going to continue to be made to the space as we prepare to close & movers have been scheduled for Monday, December 27th to move a majority of the furniture from the communal spaces in Pioneer Square. If you’re an active PS member & are planning to work that day, please let us know & we would be happy to let you use the Belltown or Tacoma space for the day! If you have any questions, please reach out to Chris or Kate.
Friendly Reminders
Meeting rooms need to be booked in advance to using them. If you see an empty meeting room & would like to use it, please check with a staff member & if available you can book it through the OfficeRnD portal. If you don’t want to use your meeting room credits, huddle rooms & phone booths in Tacoma are first come first serve- so if one’s open you can hop right in! Phone booths in Belltown are first come first serve & huddle rooms can be booked for the current week using the dry-erase boards outside of them, or if it is currently open & unbooked you can also hop in!
Mail Service Updates
For our mail service members, we wanted to give you a heads up that Spheremail will begin charging storage fees in January of 2022. New items, as well as items already in your mailbox onsite, will begin to accumulate storage fees. If you would like to avoid having storage fees added to your monthly mail membership, please ensure to regularly request tasks in Spheremail to have your mail forwarded, shredded, or thrown away.
Also, a friendly reminder- please do not email or call staff to request a mail task. If you would like staff to complete a mail task for a piece of mail please utilize the task options in Spheremail. In your Spheremail portal, you can choose to have item(s) forwarded, scanned, shredded, or thrown away. Mail tasks that are requested through an email or the phone will not be completed.
